We have a '47 B that I'm hopefully going to be able to use this spring for some tractor pulls. Does anyone have a list of general rules for Texas?
My husband says I can't be in the pull without wheelie bars. Is this true?
any help would be appreciated.
thanks.

I responded to most of your question in the Farmall B section, but let me add what I know about Texas. The pulls I've been to in Texas were using either EDGE&TA (Early Day Gas Engine & Tractor Ass'n) or NATPA (National Antique Tractor Pullers Ass'n) rules or some variation thereof. The EDGE&TA rules are more restrictive in terms of modifications--basically they require that you don't stray much from the stock form of the tractor. I would say most of the pullers I've seen didn't have wheelie bars.
Hope this helps.
