Hi,
I picked up an early 70's Cub LoBoy 154 yesterday. Runs and drives great, hydraulics work great. Came with a 72" belly mower of unknown origin, which also works great.
I noticed that the light switch was just spinning in the hole, and of course, when I pulled the knob after deterring that I couldn't reach behind the dash any way without removing it, the knob fell down inside. Grr.
So, I pulled the steering wheel and removed the dash screws so I could get in there and pull it back up, so I've got it secured to the dash panel again and it clicks to the different settings, but no lights come on in any setting. It looks like there is a loose wire, and at least one missing from the back of the switch, probably broken off from people spinning the switch, and I notice the wiring is kind of brittle, cloth covered stuff, so I'm assuming the wire that's off there either provided power or took it somewhere else. Everything else on the tractor seems to work fine. Is there a wiring diagram and maybe color key for the wires, so I can figure out what's supposed to go where?
Not sure if I should just replace the switch while I'm in there, don't know if they go "bad".
I'm sure this is all basic stuff, but it's my first tractor.
Thanks in advance,
Sean
