I am looking for ideas on a replacement part for the gear shift lever on my 1944 A, see attached gratuitous family picture. It appears to have broken off just above the spring and currently has a piece of pipe filling in. Is this something that I will be able to find or should I be looking more for the whole gear shift assembly that bolts to the chassis?

I will post a specific picture of the shifter in it's current state tomorrow when I get back home.

This was my grandfather's tractor that he had to sell before moving due awayto illness so I'm really trying hard to get this put back together the right way.
