I bought my uncles old tractor a couple of months ago. Got it cheap, as it would not crank. Me and a buddy removed the rear sickle bar and got it in the garage.
After tearing down engine we figured out the clutch was stuck. Cranks now! While we were cleaning up the rest of the tractor I noticed white paint under the fuel tank
and a few other places. After buying a tractor that didn't run and the headaches with getting to the root of the problem the chance of this being a demonstrator was just what I needed. Checked the serial number and it's confirmed. So now I'm saving my pennies to get the rebuild kit and a paint job. I'm not familiar with mounting implements on this tractor. We had a tough time dropping the mower, I assume the hydraulics would be key to making this an easier task. Id like to find a plow and disk that would work with the tractor. Any tips on the proper mounting / dismounting of the rear sickle would be great!
